We are stationed in a rural part of Oklahoma and the weather here is crazy! But seeing how I grew up in Vermont I found this hilarious!! We received 2 inches of snow on February 2, 2011 and the whole place shut down for 2 days! Here are the girls enjoying the snow drifts
Along with my new blog I have decided I would attempt a 365 day project where I take a picture every day. Normally my photography consists of people so I am trying to make sure I am as creative as possible with this project and explore things I haven't done yet! I will update as I go so keep checking back!
Day 1 My 3 year old Norah fast asleep in her bed looking sweet and innocent <3 onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgpqFh6uP9oQxlhw43GpJW8Wd0GLym5brumImPo1n3Il_91r5lYVC6LoOFf8Sj8emLbvYc_xCXn7qm1E2BHZz0rG4JgYBpsj9DYOw7YM5YvIn5V-nklm05g-S3ahSQSCLyDYd_E8fxtOX8/s1600/365.jpg">
Day 2 My girls playing a new game they got for Christmas I love the ring on Norah's thumb she has been wearing for days and the marker gotta love kids
Day 3 And world currency my husband has collected from 13 years in the Air Force. He has traveled to every place you can imagine except China and Antarctica WOW! My brothers girls friend Desiree gave me the inspiration when we were chatting this morning. My baby brother left for Korea this morning and she wants him to bring her back some of their money Day 4 My mom gave me this really neat statue and he sits in my living room it is a face and it is on a stand and then from the front is a hand with the fingers resting on his chin pretty neat!
Day 5 A few years ago when I went back to Vermont to visit because my Aunt was very sick and dying I had gone to visit and my Uncle dug out this old Canon and gave it to me I have no idea if it still works I just hang onto it and hope to have a collection of cool old cameras one day.
I hope everyone had a fun and safe New Year! We had a blast ringing it in my husband and I went out for the first time ever together on NYE! Here is a look back at 2010 from my work to family fun!
A few months into the year I was able to help welcome Ronen into the world! This by far was the best experience I have had in photography. Christina made giving birth look like a piece of cake! She had Ronen in an hour and the doctor almost didn't make it in time, truly amazing!
Then I had the honor of doing Ronen's newborn photo's
Brandon and Julie were next awaiting the arrival of Jakobe
We had fun at my daughters dance recital
A few of my favorites from day travels and beyond
Family sessions including our own
Some of my beautiful models thanks Ashley, Rechina and Marquita you are all gorgeous!!
To end I will add a few from Isabelle's 5th birthday her theme was Pinkalicious I am sure those of you that have daughters have read this book a thousand times just like we have :) Next to photography I would have to say party planning is my second love Norah had a mermaid under the sea party this summer and we did some cool decorating for that as well but I didn't get a chance to document them like this :(
Don't forget to check my facebook page for ALL of my work from the past and new sessions www.facebook.com/INPhotographybyJamie With the New Year now here I will be finally launching an official website so keep checking back for details. Thank you everyone for making 2010 a fabulous year! I hope 2011 is even better!!
I hope everyone had a VERY Merry Christmas!! We sure did! The girls needed some time outside and a little break from hanging out in the house actually playing in their room with toys. If you know my girls you know they don't play with toys especially in their room! So why would I pull them away you ask?! Fresh air and an almost 70 degree afternoon a few days before the New Year. One of their favorite things are the swings. Norah my 3 year old likes to run and jump on the swing like she is flying. Although the other day she didn't grab the swing and jumped through in a tuck and roll motion poor baby but she on ly cried for a second! My 5 year old Isabelle started pre K this year where she has finally learned to swing herself really high and jump!
To be 3 again! Although Norah loves the big swings she still enjoys the toddler swing so she can soar high. And we can't forget about 'tree climbing" on the walk home. Really it is just the girls hanging off some branches. Of course my mom their Mimi (the one who puts them up to climbing) is along for the fun!
